7 miles (1200') with Tiny Elvis; had to posthole a mile or so- my partner weighing 12 lbs, didn't posthole :D

I think I'm going to work up to a 10K, just because I've never run that far. I'm not going to actually enter a race, just work up to the distance on my own. I got 4.2 miles in today at about an 11:40 pace, which isn't fast lol but I didn't die either.
11:40 is a totally fine pace for distance running, most of your miles should be run at your zone 2 pace which for most people is pretty slow.
