Wiser BT-20 Ridge Warden

Got my email back. Sounds like it’s just a balance point issue since my arca is on the forend of the rifle.i guess I shouldn’t expect rrs anvil like stability out of such a lightweight head.

Interesting I'm still waiting to hear back. All I want is my rifle to do what he does at 5:31 in this vid as it seems like that's what is expected of the product. But when I get it tight enough to balance it doesn't pan. If it's loose enough to pan it doesn't lock in and balance on the tilt axis. This is on a couple different rifles including a 8.75 lb Tikka in a hnt26 with arca,( exactly what's shown in the youtube thumbnail) nothing crazy

That’s what I wanted to as my rails are at the forend.
Cant stand one in the middle when I carry by hand.
Have to keep looking.

Weird I still haven't gotten a response but guess I'll continue to wait.

EDIT they got back to me saying they're in the area affected by the WA flooding and also moving in some new machines affecting service/production and would follow up.

Welp still waiting for them to follow up

Anyways in the meantime I've been messing with this a little bit. If I pan though quickly it unscrews sometimes, Is there a trick to get it more secure so it doesn't unscrew? I'd hate to have my rifle or spotter unscrew off this thing in the field and fall right off

Tripod with a set screw on the mounting flange.

When I screw it in tight to the wiser it's not long enough to mate with the tripod

So I have been attaching jt with the tripod first and then screwing on the wiser. But the wiser then unscrews easily when panning I can't tighten it down like I can the tricer lp. Not sure where id utilize a set screw
