Got my email back. Sounds like it’s just a balance point issue since my arca is on the forend of the rifle.i guess I shouldn’t expect rrs anvil like stability out of such a lightweight head.

Interesting I'm still waiting to hear back. All I want is my rifle to do what he does at 5:31 in this vid as it seems like that's what is expected of the product. But when I get it tight enough to balance it doesn't pan. If it's loose enough to pan it doesn't lock in and balance on the tilt axis. This is on a couple different rifles including a 8.75 lb Tikka in a hnt26 with arca,( exactly what's shown in the youtube thumbnail) nothing crazyGot my email back. Welp still waiting for them to follow up
Anyways in the meantime I've been messing with this a little bit. If I pan though quickly it unscrews sometimes, Is there a trick to get it more secure so it doesn't unscrew? I'd hate to have my rifle or spotter unscrew off this thing in the field and fall right off
Hmm I running a sirui st124.Tripod with a set screw on the mounting flange.

Ah I meant like this. This is an Aziak.Hmm I running a sirui st124.

When I screw it in tight to the wiser it's not long enough to mate with the tripod

So I have been attaching jt with the tripod first and then screwing on the wiser. But the wiser then unscrews easily when panning I can't tighten it down like I can the tricer lp. Not sure where id utilize a set screw

Thank you for clarifying I checked and have a second head with set screws but it's too wide to set with the wiser head.
Thanks I will try that. Also reread the thread and saw some tips in a couple previous pages to try.Try some double sided drywall tape on the flat surface?
