Wine And The Outdoors

My wife and I enjoy a nice Amarone with my homemade raviolis. I've been making beer for 20 years and 5 years ago started on wine making, fun hobby. All my efforts go towards Amarone, Merlot and elderberry/ blackberry so far. We also cruise the Costco wines and seem to try a few every time we go.

Was in a touristy gift shop and the owner recommend a bottle of red. He said it was the finest wine in all of [well known touristy town on another continent]. I immediately asked if it came from his family's vineyard and he said "of course!" With that kind of candor I bought a bottle and it was pretty good, more so for the price.

I love wine but with the caveat that my preference is that it taste like grape juice and is >10% abv
