What correction factors do you use for your gun number in field for non-full value winds from 2 o’clock, 8 o’clock etc? I’ve searched around and haven’t been able to find any direct discussion of this.

Do you only worry about 45 degree winds and use zero or full value otherwise? Not sure what’s the correct amount of simple…

Google “wind rose” for lots info on the fractional values of angled winds.

I make corrections that will affect keeping the bullet in the target. Wind is very hard regardless, so diving deep into the small fractions assumes I made the call right.

I know the math, but I avoid going down the rabbit hole in the field.
