Hopefully with short barrels and a 7.5 twist.

I know I know we just got the 6. Which is sexy in its own right especially if they'll drop 16" piped guns shortly.

Seems like they're one step away from a 22 Creed.

@EuroOptic , do you have any way of seeing what Tikka's US sales vs Everywhere Else on the Planet are? They were way late to the ballgame on 6 CM, but I'm wondering how much of that's simply because the US segment of their market may not be as high as might be expected.

Didn't the delay have something to do with the Saami/CIP approvals of the cartridges?

I really hope they start making them but I think the closest you're going to get is a 22-250 and getting it reamed out.

CIP approved 6creed in 2019.......I've heard this a lot, but it's just Tikka dragging their feet.

IF Tikka ever did, which I doubt they will, it most likely won't be in the configuration you want anyways.

It's not CIP approved. Doubt Tikka Finland is going to produce anything till that pending status changes. It took 7 years post CIP approval for the 6cm to get into production.

That's news to me, they were estimating spring 27. I see zero data on it via CIP website. Maybe it just happened.

I would imagine they would know before you and I based off positions and geo location.
I personally do not know why the 6 creed took so long. If Tikka is expressing high interest in the 22 creed, and with SKUs of 16” 6 creeds on the way, the timeline for a production 22 creed rifle and in a short configuration could be quicker than we initially thought.

If it happens bet it will be 5 or 6 years after CIP approval, or 2 years after 22 Creed starts selling more than 22-250 on the open market. Whichever comes first.

Point is, don’t wait.
