Will Tikka come out with a 6 CM soon???

How would that be preferable over 5/8 and a shoulder added? Not arguing because I have said I have mostly 1/2 threads without a shoulder but going forward it makes more sense to me to use 5/8 with a shoulder rather than using a 1/2-5/8 adapter. Like I said it was/is a non issue with cans that I could just swap out the HUB on but those that its not an option why not just thread for 5/8 add a shoulder and not use the adapter? When thats an option.

Agreed.

I guess whatever is cheaper is preferable to me, assuming both would work. 🤷

What is the ID of OTB suppressors like the OG 6-S /OG 6.5? I know they say it fits over a .750 barrel, but is that just a rule of thumb for keeping a bit of space there, or is it barely sliding over the barrel at that point?

Its tapered, so the .750 is at the muzzle but more like .8xx further back. I was able to screw a og6s onto an 18" ace 3b, but juuust barely.
