Zeiss scope info

Bought a box of random gun parts and reloading dies at a yardage, does anyone know anything about this scope? What its worth?

That was the plan, but its got a weird base on it I cant find mounts for. And dont want to take a nice scope like that and mill the base off if someone has a period rifle it'll fit.

DDR would be Deutsche Demokratische Republik, so it's an old East German scope.

Do you have a pic of the mount? I'm not super familiar with Zeiss mounts but it could just be a railscope.

You have to zoom in, its upside down, so the rail is on top in the picture. Ill get a better picture in the next day or two.

So those are the kind of claw mounts you're looking for.

I'd reach out to New England Custom Gun and ask if they're aware of anyone making these mounts.

Make sure they know it's not a current Zeiss rail.
