Necessary upgrades is a bit of a stretch. With factory everything rifle except a vertical grip ($30), I have not been hindered by the rifle during longer shots or the S2H class

Often times people , including myself, are so worried about upgrading their rifle. Meanwhile the largest source of error is the guy behind the rifle and giving him as much practice as possible is likely the best place money can be spent

How’d you like the factory Tikka stock vs something like the Rokstok (I assume you got to try it out at S2H while getting a bunch of range time overall)? I almost jumped on the Rokstok Lite buy but decided to spend the money on practice ammo instead and make the factory T3x stock work a while longer. I’ve actually never used an aftermarket stock, so I don’t know what I’m missing.

They have a 22.4” listed as well. I think you’re gonna be SOL waiting for a 24”, unless they do it in one of the Ace rifles.

They should roll their 243s now with the 7.5tw too, just saying. A long throat 243 will outrun a saami 6cm due to the extra 3gr powder capacity.

I can 100% understand why a guy might prefer a .243 but from where I stand, being able to get within a few FPS of .243 speeds, with less powder, ergo less recoil, sounds pretty sweet, for my kids.
