Wide boots.

I have two pairs of Meindle boots , they definitely have a wide toe box.

Got the Kenetrek’s today. Initial thought is they feel good. See how they feel walking around

Looking for new boots I’ve tried on Hanwag alverstone II wides, they aren’t wide enough. Are the Schnee wides, Zamberlan wide, or the scarpa wider than Hanwag or the same. Trying not drop $1200 on boots just to return them all or most of them.

No crispi boots recommendations, my feet and crispi don’t get along
I understand you don't want spend a lot of money but a conversation is free. Call Lathrop and see what they have to say.

Check out the Irish Setter elk hunter. I have a pair in 12w that I have used the last few seasons. Have held up well. Being full leather they are a little heavier but well constructed

I only lasted 1 day in Kennetreks. They were like walking on stilts with their tall heals and soles. They were almost dangerous on steep, rocky terrain. Also, it was nearly impossible to stalk game quietly with the thick soles, stiff uppers, and relatively heavy weight. I guess a lot depends on what type of terrain and your particular hunting style. If you are going to be on steep, rocky terrain I would definitely return them and try something else.

You really haven't gone into many specifics on what type of terrain and use you have for your boots. As an example, tall, stiff, heavy boots are the last option I would use for my style of hunting. If you aren't hiking far they may be fine but I usually cover lots of miles in steep, rough terrain.

widest last for Hanwag is the Ancash II

I wear a 13W. The Asolo Fugitive GTX uninsulated work for me. The problem with boots is that you gotta have your feet tell you what’s best.

I am a 14 Wide and have switched from the Whites Italian made boots to the Hanwag Wide Alaskas.

Picked up a pair of Super Sale Crispis to wear as everyday boots that I’m breaking in. They lace a little weird. I was late and in a hurry and then really busy.

I didn’t bother to stop and re-tie. Now, I’ve got a hot spot. Dope!

We might have an option for you. In the last couple of years we came out with a Super wide boot that might work real well.. I'll send you a DM

Zamberlan are narrow in the toe box. Found them similar to the hanwag wides in width which was not enough for me.
Based on my fitting with Sawtooth and Hunter Pro, it depends on the last used for each model, "wide" is not consistent across all lines. Hunter Pro is quite wide.

Schnees "wide" Granite 200g feel a little narrow for me even after a couple years break in. This is consistent with the "run narrow for a wide" consensus from many other posts here. They seem narrower than other 200g insulated boots such as the Hunter Pro.

I have been wearing Salewa Rapaces for years now and love the fit. I have a wide toe box and my heel is standard size. I wear Altra and vivobare foot shoes regularly. I would recommend sizing up a half size in the Salewa for better room in the toe area. Then you'll also have room for different sock thicknesses. The boot lace system really secures you heel into the pocket so the additional size doesn't make the boot feel too big. The tread and rands do not last long on these boots unfortunately and I find myself purchasing a new pair every season. I am 200# and I hunt the desert a lot so my boots get abused. Ive had issues with this boot leaking in wet conditions, I have not tried any nikwax though. I think its a solid boot and they are priced pretty well, GoHunt and Black Ovis often have them on sale too.
