Why is the hornady ballistic app giving me incorrect MOA adjustments

I fought with the Hornady app the other day too. I thought I should try it since it is more fancy than BulletDrop. If I got it dialed in at 400 it was high at 700. Dial it in at 700 and it was low at 400. I played with every number I could and never got it right. Deleted the app and went back to BulletDrop. It’s basic but it lines up perfectly for me.

That app sucks. Use Shooter, AB or if you still have it before they banned it or whatever, Strelok Pro. The Revic App synced to my RF Binos has been reliable so far.

True your velocity if needed and record consistent hits with different guns/bullets at different DAs with hard dope. You'll likely be dandy at 600 and in with most apps. Further out I consolidate field notes with consistent hits into hard dope a lot of the time as Apps are too slow, and my RF Binos can only have one profile loaded at a time.
