I would call everything within the orange (line following ridglines that contain this entire watershed) a small drainage.

Your friend is correct. My friend posted that other comment, I'll be sure and let him know he was wrong.

My, I would call both yellow and blue a drainage. Add a modifier like "little side drainage " if needed. But I'm just a coonass hillbilly that got lost and don't really speak the language.

Depending on the larger area, I would probably call the red line a valley.

My friend has made a large enough fool of himself tonight and is going to shut up.

Yep, blue are draws, yellow is creek/bottom of drainage if generally dry.
