Why are NR still applying in North Dakota for deer?

One of the big reasons for low draw odds for non residents is non resident landowners get an automatic tag. When applying, you don’t know how many landowner tags will be given out, so some units all tags go to non resident landowners and then basically you’ve wasted your money and time applying. That’s one of the big things that need to change and legislation needs to be contacted.

Those youth tags up there may as well be child abuse.

“Hey Junior let’s get you hooked on deer hunting, that was fun eh? Oh yeah it’ll be ten years before you get to do it again so I hope you had fun!”.

I feel the same way.. however depriving our youth of tags is no good as well. No easy answers to our low deer population problems. I wish I would have known years ago that we were living in the glory days.

Proclamation is posted. Governor nixed the “no does” for archery. Only change is nonresidents limited to private land first 9 1/2 days of archery season.

Cool so now we are playing the Wyoming and SD game with big game in ND So no Federal/USFWS lands or Natl Grass lands.

AND ND wants to ask if I want to donate to PLOTs...what a joke.
