Who’s reached a half a mill?

I have an 04 Outback with the 3.0 that has 310000 and still going strong. Starting to leak a little oil but I usually just top it off once it starts sounding like a diesel. Last time I added oil it took approx 4.5 quarts but I had not popped the hood in over 17000 miles. I always use Mobil 1 20k mile oil in it and change it around every 20k miles. It has been an amazing car for me and way more off road worthy than it was intended to be. Right blinker quit working but everything else still works perfect. Just bought a 2012 with the 3.6r in it. Hopefully i have the same luck with it.

My '08 Tundra has a little over 247,000 miles. Only thing repaired/replaced was the starter last October. Change the oil every 10,000 miles using Mobil 1 synthetic. Mechanically, the truck gives no indications that it won't keep running strong on its way to 500,000.

Nothing major. Nothing with tranny or engine. Just normal maintenance. I didn't put all the miles on it but I am also not OCD about maintenance. Family has several more with well over 300k and one at 498K now.
Wow that’s good to hear we take my “97” f350 7.3 elk hunting every year only 253k on that should be good for awhile

I am rookie staus, 2013 Gran Cherokee, 192k and counting, been quite good considering the abuse it has seen.

One thing I will say for Jeeps having had several is the suspension parts hold up really well.

I use a '02 Explorer Sport trac as a beater/work truck. It died this weekend with 568,XXX on it. Sad to see it go.

I accidently ran my 98 F150 4.6 low on oil a few weeks and the bottom end let go. It had 338k miles on it and ran like it was brand new.

A buddy if mine has a 99 7.3 that I believe now has 660k miles on it. Never had the heads off, all original.

Some impressive mileage in here. I have a 2018 cummins with 180k that I hope I can get half a million out of it. My little beater work truck is a 01 tacoma with 214k.

I have a 2000 Nissan frontier with 365,000 on it. Original engine with very minor maintenance. It has been a great rig for hunting, especiallly for some of the tight brushy roads around home. I bought it with 38,000 on it, and I have put the rest on it myself except the few miles two of the kids put on it while learning how to drive a stick shift :)

I couldn’t decide if this thread was going to be about shooting accuracy or investments. I am close to hitting 200k in my GMC Yukon XL. I would be tickled pink to get another 100k.

We just got back at week ago from a family vacation driving my wifes Yukon XL. Started in KS. It crossed over 300,000 in Idaho. Made the loop up thru WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, NM, UT, CO and back home. 5420 miles round trip

Just hit 235k on my 13 Grand Cherokee, v6.

No major repairs, 99% wear and tear or abuse, still surprises me.

Need some tlc here before season, brakes, tires, ball joint, CV axle and alignment shortly!

Gives me hope! This year one of my students set me up with his dad who is a mobile mechanic. He is very reasonable and has done a great job on a number of things that needed done. Not being a car guy myself, having someone you trust is invaluable.

293,000 and change on a 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 pickup bought new. Original engine (4.7), transmission, alternator, starter, etc. Re-did the front end 3 times. Regular maintenance helps.

Typical no-life threatening issues of early 2000s Dodge rams - they put really crappy plastic in the dash leading to cracks throughout, and the map lights break.

Really happy to get this much life out of gas burner, and now it is out to pasture as I use it mostly for hunting, fishing and hauling stuff.

When I sold my 2004 3/4ton Cummins it had 433,000 on it. Replaced 1 set of injectors, 1 injector pump, several lift pumps as I was using cheap $170 pumps. 1 dual disc clutch. Changed the oil in the diffs and tranny 1 time and changed the engine oil every 20k. Didn’t pull with all the time but when I did it was heavy 20-25k loads. (4:10 diff) Couldn’t be more impressed by the NV5600 6sp manual transmission. Never had any issues or had to have it rebuilt and was still rock solid when I sold it. Ran a smarty junior on it with a 100hp tune the whole time. Could pull 25k loads up hills with the cruise on 75 like it was nothing.

Now have a 2016 3/4ton Cummins. Full egr and def delete with a mild efi live tune. It’s got 134k on it and about to have the automatic tranny rebuilt a second time and taking the 3:43 diffs out and replacing with 3:73. If you ever going to be pulling stuff do yourself a favor and don’t get a truck with a 68RFE tranny with 3:43 diff. Go with the Aisin. Other than the tranny the truck has never had any issues.

My work truck is a 2024 ford f250 deisel. Has 34k on it and the rear main seal already started leaking after driving it on flooded roads. Then somehow just stopped leaking again after a week. We have several new 2024 ford and Ram deisels with heavy metal mechanic beds full of tools and parts in the work fleet that will get 200k put on them in the next 2 years so will be interesting to see how they hold up. I will say the 10sp autos in the fords are very smooth and drop rpm’s down pretty low at highway speeds which helps with fuel mileage.
