I was joking with my wife around 2 am after the E.R visit and i told her "you know most people say they see their life flash beofre their eyes.....well all i could see was my elk season flash beofre my eyes."

Now THAT is FUNNY! I'd be 6-feet under had I said that...but have to say that your is fully understood by those in this forum.

My time in field for my first CO DIY Elk hunt went from 7 to 4 days. I'm pissed.

Plans changed again! Best plan yet I think! Further east yet and for 7 days. Rugged unit and I hope the old farts I am taking can keep up with me!
