Who's hunting sheep soon?

I'm set to fly to Alaska on August 3rd. Who else is hunting sheep this year? I believe I'm ready for the work. A few more weeks and I will find out. Starting to become real.

Heck ya mulflon on lanai counts high_rise_hunter. I did the state run hunt a few years back. It was a very cool unique hunt. I loved it.

Sept 14th hiking in, Jet boat drop off. May be smoky this year in some locations. Alot of fires burning in BC, one is 580,000 ha in region 7 and many more started over the weekend. Hope for rain!

Fly to Whitehorse on Aug 6th then into sheep camp in the Yukon on the 8th.

Hopefully home with a Dall sheep on the 20th!

Taking my 10 y/o on her 3rd hike in sheep hunt aug 3, then fly out aug 19 for another 10 days with a buddy to a new area.

Fortunately, still spending most of my time off taking care of and having babies. Only have time for one extended Aug/Sept hunt and moose carry a bit more meat than sheep. Maybe back to annual sheep trips in a couple years. Until then, best of luck everyone and I look forward to photos and updates!

Yesterday the sun was shining, and the tundra up top was finally green. I made the comment to my wife than now it finally feels like sheep season.

Lot of legal rams out there this year. I've seen more lagal rams the past 90-some days than in previous years. Looking to be a good season.
