Easy clean-up. But I probably go without just as much as I use the nitrile gloves - depends on if I have them 'handy'.

Yep, every single day while processing. Not on the kill floor though but I may change that. Just keeps hands nice and clean. Never wore them years ago and my hands were stained black from all the blood. It was pretty nasty! 🤣

I like nitrile gloves just so I don’t have to waste water with cleanup afterwards.

Also a little trick, if you’re dressing out an animal and it’s super cold and windy out, wear thin glove liners under the nitrile gloves and your hands won’t freeze when wet with blood. It helps you keep dexterity which can become a safety issue with sharp knives.

I've used them with my buddy's elk. More blood and I felt I got better grip on the quarters.

On my last few deer, and in warmer weather, I want to get it on ice as soon as possible...no gloves.

No, don’t like the lack of sensation. Not particularly concerned with infection. Always have baby wipes in my pack to clean up with. Similar sentiment to wearing masks, well except the baby wipe part…

Usually have them, often use them. It makes it a lot easier to get cleaned up and not be scraping smelly blood out from under your nails for the next several days if in the backcountry.

Try to keep a set in my kill bag, I like then when quartering in field, no other reason than its easier than trying to clean half dried blood off my hands before packing things up.

If I have them in the pack, usually. If not, not big deal

I started wearing them when gutting wild hogs. And will always wear them doing that

There is no way in hell i'm getting anything between my hands and an XL nitrile glove, they barely fit as it is.
Anyways, i'm in the easier cleanup camp so yes i wear them ......

I carry them but forget to wear them but do carry wet wipes and a bottle of water to clean up afterwards. Been hunting since I was about 8 years old and heading towards 67 never been a problem. More than likely just wipe off my hands with a bunch of grass or leaves if in snow all the better for cleanup.

I wear nitrile gloves at work so having them on is almost second nature as far as dexterity.
Easy clean up and better grip are the two main reasons for me.
I used to not wear them that much, put them on if I thought about. Then one season I had stitches on a finger and wore them to keep that finger wound covered and clean, been wearing them for everything I've cleaned since.

I wear a cut glove on off hand but not rubber gloves. Have worn them but not high on my list.

Maybe if i was cleaning a hog or dump bear.
