I have heard the Hornady one is ok and the RCBS one is better, is there a better option?

I am trying to preserve the bullets, and I have damaged a couple of bullets that are not easily available.

Thanks! I will see what I can find in Europe. None of the USA based reloading houses like Midway will ship to an APO.

I have found the Hornady to be just slightly better at holding onto the projectile, which helps preserve it better, but if I really want it preserved I use a kinetic.

So is there any bullet diameter interchangeability?

I am pulling .413 10.3mm bullets, 9.3mm bullets and 8mm bullets.

I ordered a .411, 416 and 400 collets. hopefully one of those will grab those copper 10.3mm bullets without damaging them.

I have pulled way too many bullets in my time. My Hornady has always been great. It MAY take one sacrificial bullet to get it set right but that is it.

I have 2 bullet pullers, a pair of electrician pliers and the Hornady Cam-Lock as mentioned above.

If the bullet is going to be scrapped, the pliers are the easiest and fastest to use.

I really like the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller the best. It does take a little getting use to as far as setting the tension just right on the collet. If it is too tight, you damage the bullet beyond use. Too loose and it slips off the bullet. When the tension is perfect, you can run through a lot of bullets in a short time period. Bullets come out perfect and the powder is also ready to reuse.

I have had good luck with the hornady puller, tried the ole grip and pull but the hornady is just a better product.

I just use the kinetic bullet puller with a paper towel stuffed in the front so the bullet does not get damaged.

I don't know what an APO is but can't you get it shipped to a friend or relative that would forward it to you?

APO Army Post Office
FPO Fleet Post Office
DPO Diplomatic Post Office

I just ordered all 3 sizes of the grip and pull. I had seen that on Bob Beck's show 100 years ago. I couldn't remember what it is called.

Peoplare super gay in my family about it.

I send the basterds huge Christmas care packages every year full of German cookies, chocolate and cakes at least 5 years in a row.

This was the last year, as they stopped shipping things for me.

I used Amazon to ship to some of my APO locations while deployed several times. Might check on that. I have been retired for 12 years so not sure if anything has changed.
