Grew up listening to Muzzie Braun and more recently Reckless Kelly. Love Reckless. Really like Long Night Moon as well as Bulletproof. The song Idaho on Long Night Moon could be my all time favorite Reckless song.

Another listener here. A lot of these were said already but Mickey and the Motorcars, Casey Donahew band, Randy Rogers Band, Whiskey Myers, older Cross Canadian Ragweed, Wade Bowen, some Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney La'Rue, Jason Boland.

Someone on here has had to have listened to or heard of Ryan Bingham… his album Mescalito gets played a lot here. Also Hayes Carll, Jackson Taylor and the Sinners, and Cory Morrow have good tunes, and Scooter Brown and The Clay Wilson Band have at least 1 good song a piece.

This make me laugh that you mentioned the Clay Wilson Band.. He as been one of my good friends since kindergarden..

This thread really suprised me.. Being from Texas I am a little supprised but glad that guys outside of the state are getting to enjoy the best music in the world.. 5 years ago no one knew who most of the bands guys are naming on here were.

I married a Texan gal and lived there for a little over a year. Other than what it cost to kill a deer or turkey there, it's a fan-freaking-tastic place.

Jack Ingram's old stuff was good, the newer like when he was on mainstream radio....eh.

I like Charlie Robison to add a name that hasn't been mentioned.

Saw Mickey and the Motorcars a few years ago in Big Sky. Weird place to seem them. In the middle of a millionaire playground.

And agree with the mainstream "bro country" (I couldn't remember the other day if something was by Luke Bryan or jason aldean. My buddy says what's the difference) "f*ck you and f*ck Nashville I'm leaving Tennessee" good song.
