Who hunts with a 10lb+ rifle?

Put a bayonet on that thing, it's long enough, you might be able to save ammo. It's wild that we rarely see long barrels anymore. The trends are interesting. 10-15 years ago, all the rage was maximizing fps. Everyone wanted 26". Now it's opposite and a 20" looks long. Maybe 1 day that communist of a governor, will allow you to own gun mufflers.

I had a 27” last year lol. That’s progress haha.

I actually have a 26” & 22” to mess with next season.

I’d for sure mess with different configurations it I had suppressors. No doubt about it.

I bought a Remington 700 police in 308 and mark4 M5 scope a long time ago as a do all varmint target deer rifle as my first “real” rifle. It’s a little over 11lbs. I’ve bought many rifles since, and when it comes down to it, this one still gets the nod every time. Just killed a 350” elk with it.

I bought one many years ago and it is a long/heavy tack driver. I'm probably going to have 6-10" cut off that 26" barrel to shoot it suppressed.

Dang, making me feel better. I am putting together a 28" 284win with a custom chamber. Hoping to hit 2800+ fps in the 54ish gr range for a 180..
Hoping it comes in under 17lbs with an XLR chassis.
