Who else makes a WIDE down semi mummy?

About 4 years ago I was in your shoes. Hate mummy bags, my wide shoulders don't fit well and I like to sleep on my side.

I tired a bunch, finally settled on Western Mountaineering. Not cheap, I think I paid no more than $700 back then. Love the bag, plenty warm.

If you find an alternative solution, let me know.

Want a wide semi rectangular/mummy down bag with a 0 degree rating. Who other than Western Mountaineering makes one? Would prefer to not spend $1200.

I attach the “bed sheet” permanently to the quilt. It attaches to the pad 10x easier than the old BA system. The quilt is pre set into the configuration I use 99% of the time and compared to just a mummy bag being thrown on top of a pad I probably spend an extra 30 seconds getting my bag system on the pad.

Stone Glacier guys, I’m having a tough time comparing their measurements. Most companies tend to list measurements as circumference. For example, Western Mountaineering shows shoulder circumference as 66”. Yes SG, only lists width at 32”. How do those compare?

Yes, I remember some basic Jr High geometry and if that width on the SG was a true circle’s diameter I could compute and equate circumference, but it’s not.

Is there any way to fairly compare the two measurements? I’ve asked SG’s CS but no answer and I’m running out of time. I need to make an order soon.

Nemo Stalker - i am 6’5” 250 and have plenty of room. Nemos bags are spacious, I have a few of them in different temp ratings.

You probably know it already but if you sleep cold rather than focusing on your sleeping bag or quilt, add a good bivy and a very high r value sleeping pad.
