Hello all,

I am looking to do some public land hunting in Missouri this year during bow season only. Have any of y'all utilized Missouri public land for this? If so does anyone have some tips for me or some spots you would recommend for entrance? I was looking at Mark Twain national forest.

Thanks!

Missouri has a good hunting atlas on their website to check out, there are alot of places you could try on it, I have looked it over several times, as my brother lives in st louis, eventually i will pick one and go!

99% of the land I hunt is Mark Twain ground. I do utilize some state and Corps owned parcels, as well. There is more than enough MTNF to go around and some really excellent hunting to be had! We are lucky in MO that we have quite a bit to choose from!

I hunt public all over Missouri and have been extremely successful. What part of the state are you looking at?
