I’m pretty sure you can buy replacement beads at Walmart that fit over the ribs I don’t think they cost very much at all.
I have the OEM tiny fiber optic bead on my super 90. However, it was getting hard to see at my age, and I upgraded to a magnetic Hi-Viz bead. It's about 2" long and to your point snaps securely over the rib and is magnetic as well for extra security. I have it butted against my factory bead and never had any issues in probably 10 years. If I recall it came with 3 or 4 different colored inserts. I've stuck with the orange/red as it works best for my eyes in all conditions.

I've got an air pad I've used once, somehow when we were packing our it got a tear in it. It's kinda bulky, but it's says it's a 9.5 r pad. It kept me quite warm. If you wanna try to fix it and pay shipping it's yours. Otherwise it's going in the trash lol. https://a.co/d/epZzY0I
