i recently got a Tikka T3x lite veil wideland in .270win and Swaro Z5 3.5-18x44 to use for deer/speedgoat and am contemplating using it for a cow elk hunt this year

100%, pal of mine did the same last fall with a 270 win HC XBolt. Partition bullet or similar is necessary for cow elk though, in case you need to punch through on a quartering shot for example
