Just wanted to kick it back, I've looked at a bunch of options but we're gonna run both for now. Thanks for everyone's insights.

For those asking for pics of the ol diesel....

I think that's the smart choice. Finding good used trucks that have been taken care of seems harder now that it was 5 or 10 years ago. If you don't need the space or the money, keeping both is exactly what I would do.

Maintenance on my 97 F350 powerstroke with 260k has been starter, alternator brakes and such oh and replaced the mechanical fuel pump haven’t even had to recharge AC yet so can’t think high maintenance cost of diesel really figures in 🤷🏻‍♂️

Since you already have a Tundra I would get rid of that diesel while you can. It's on the cusp of costing you a ton of money.

Keep the other 2 vehicles.

Well, for us here in the Northeast, it would be a matter of which has the most rust...
I'm jealous if all three lack cancer.
Personally, I'd ditch the one that can't stack up to future needs. If you don't have heavy truck requirements in your future, let the Ford go. If you have any reservations of hauling something or need a big truck, and the Honda is the daily driver, ditch the Tundra.
Clear as mud...

From what I have seen with that year (ish) and those engines is if you leave them stock they tend to last for freaking ever. Everybody I know that has issues has mods.

Other than that it has been pretty standard maintenance items, minus the ignition switch that went bad, but that only cost 280$. The only annoying thing is the damn steering bearings (6$ piece) have gone out multiple times, but that is a known issue with those rigs. I just buy the piece and do it again.

I do like driving that old truck around, had a ton of hunting memories with my brothers, dad and buddies growing up. At some point it will go out on the scrap heap, but not yet.

I've only owned one 7.3L, a 1995. It was a work truck from day one and had the crap kicked out of it regularly. The body was falling apart, but the engine/drivetrain was solid. A bit leaky thanks to poor maintenance for years, but still solid. If the right one came along some day, I'd buy another, but I would much prefer the Super Duty chassis over the OBS.
