I'm looking for suggestions. I have a Duplex Timberline and I want a pocket that will detach quickly and have a carry strap or belt. I will fill it with the essentials for run and gun elk hunting, just in case we run into animals while packing in (or out) our spike camp. I want to be able to quickly ditch my heavy pack, detach my pocket and bow, and haul butt after the elk. It has to hold several knickknacks: elk calls, release, rangefinder, binoculars, wind checker, havalon knife, energy bar, water bottle, para cord, camera, etc. I don't care if it's a Kifaru, Hill People, Eberlestock or any other brand. I just want something super handy. I'd like to see pictures too.

Buy the longhunter lid it turns into fanny pack in seconds I cut my belt off mine but would work perfect for that. But make sure you know where you drop your pack that can be ugly

You aren't kidding! I'm at the point anymore where I'm leaving my pack on for the final stalk!

I wish I would've thought about this before I ordered my pack. I'm going to be stuck with 2 lids.
