Which month to hunt in New Mexico

Planning a pronghorn trip in New Mexico in the next 2 years. What month is best August, Sept or October for opportunities of older mature bucks.

First time on pronghorn. Heat is not an issue as I am used to Texas humidity and 95+ degrees digging post holes.

If you can draw a NM antelope tag I wouldn't worry about the month...seasons are only 5 days anyhow, unless your bow hunting.
IIRC total tag number were reduced by 20% this year, add in the NR outfitter carve out...I would take any valid tag.

Well if you go in Aug and sept got snakes 24hr, go in Oct you only have them around lunch

I’d go early and hope you draw a Sept elk tag too
