Which bows will/would you guys be test shooting this year?

Honestly when I was looking last year I already knew I was gonna have the hoyt and Matthew's hanging up to test shoot. After this thread I ended up having: the lift, 2x hoyts, a darton, and bowtec.

Ended up shooting them on rotation for about an hour then I went back the next day. Ended up picking up a lift 33 but it was super close between that and the hoyt. The Darton was even closer to the hoyt and I may have gone for that if the lift hadn't been a pretty perfect fit for me.

I hadn't really heard of darton before this thread and it really surprised me how well it shot. I'd def have that on the test list this year.

Any other sleeper bows to test out this year?
Honestly we are hitting a bit of a plateau in that everything is pretty amazing. So I think its just budget and what feels good to shoot. Tunability is pretty clutch.

Good to know. A buddy of mine just picked up a Darton last year. I had heard of them, but they were a "lower" end bow years ago and never considered one.

I’ve had a z1S for 2 yrs now and it has been fantastic. Question though, how much can lean do you notice at longer draws?
I couldn't tell you, mate. I've only shot it at 28in, and when my mates with gorilla arms have shot it they've shot it at 28in as well.
Not sure if you consider that 'long', but I sure don't. In any case, none of my mates have noticed anything weird with it at all. It's been a seriously robust and accurate bow for me. I'm about to order a new set of strings for it, which will be the 4th set I've put on it.

You didn't mention where you live. Go to the best bowshop(s) in your area. Shoot some of the bows they recommend. It sounds goofy but one bow will pick you. You'll know when it happens. Best of luck.
