Rokstok Lite

Mine has zero add ons, only lefty
As Lane said, they have received only right hand Tikka stocks so far. No lefty stocks and no other inlet, only Tikka right hand stocks. I really wanted my Howa Mini Action stock more than this Tikka one but that apparently isn't going to be ready for a while. Sucks but I will wait for it to be done right.

I’m well aware, I talked to stockys on the 12th.

I guess my biggest complaint is that when they opened orders on Feb 12 to the available inlets it would be assumed by the customer that they have the mold and are ready to produce stocks for all of those inlets. To my knowledge there was no mention anywhere that only right handed tikkas would be produced first regardless of order number. And as far as I know the only difference in right and left handed tikkas is the bolt cutout, and if I’m wrong there someone please correct me. And I’m not just worried about my own order. Everyone should get theirs in the order they were placed. I said my peace and I’ll just go back to waiting and refrain from commenting

I don’t think UM is the problem. Other than running out of buttpads. They are doing a great job on their end. Stocky’s is the problem.
100% the slow turn out is on Stockys. From delamimation to just not having stocks to ship to UM. My comment was ment in a way to show that the more parts there are on your order the more complex it is to get it to you since he mentioned it would be just a week or two before he got his stock. Sometimes it is simple as a piece is out for coating and they are at the mercy of another companies schedule.

@Stockys When are the Rokstok Lite Howa Mini Action stocks going into production?

Jay

I called in to Jessica at Stockys in February or March. I have a shit memory, but I’m pretty sure She told me that the Howa mini stocks were already laid up and awaiting inletting.

I feel good about what I heard, because of the reason I called. UM didn’t answer emails or phone calls about wanting to change one of the two I ordered to a superlite inlet. So I called her.

This is after getting confirmation from Stockys on here that their design team reviewed and confirmed it could be done easily.

I’ve had a couple phone, email, and PM conversations with UM since, and have essentially given up trying to understand what’s actually happening, or having stocks any time soon.

It doesn’t, you should have yours already
Head on over to the old Rokstok thread around May 2024 if you want to feel better about your situation and see past performance. Anyone who preordered a Rokstok lite assuming they would have it in production order or within the promised delivery date is woefully optimistic.

After waiting 9 months for a Rokstok, I cancelled my order. UM was great to deal with on the refund, so you always have that option.

View attachment 1087003Curious if anyone else’s pad was as poorly fit as this? Functionally may not make a difference but all the way around the perimeter it’s a bit underwhelming.

Mine wasn’t that bad, but wasn’t great. The fit to the spacer kit was off, pad to spacer was off. I pulled it all off, and the pad to stick fit is pretty bad too, so I’m just going to redo it. No big deal, but kind of a bummer.

While I get there's really no issue with effect on function - I wouldn't be happy with that pad and would be asking for a replacement.

Oh I’m not happy. It’s getting replaced whether they are doing it or not. I think the stock will chip where the pad doesn’t cover it. I asked for no sling stud too, but that’s minor. Was just curious if this is common because family members have 2 others on order and was contemplating them sending me the grind to fit pads and I’ll do it myself.

PM your info and I'll send you another recoil pad. We've had some issues with our template not matching up the recoil pad to the stock. Going forward, we will be grinding recoil pads to match the actual stock they are going on.
