Which bag? K4 3600 or Teratorn?

I have a new K4 frame. Currently have a 5000 bag on it that I got in a trade deal. I’m wanting to switch bags to either a 3600 or a Teratorn. I primarily do day hunts in November in Montana, but I typically pack an extra layer or two for different conditions, and there’s always the chance that we end up going for elk in some bad weather. I know the 3600 would handle most of what I do without issue, but could see it getting tight if we’re gearing up die bad weather and/or elk hunting in cold conditions. Is there Teratorn just going to be too much excess to deal with on day hunts?

I just tuck in the wings behind main bag for day hunts. So far so good.
