Where is everyone going???

Wyoming moose for me. It is an any weapon hunt but I have been practicing with my recurve and revolver. This might be a good enough reason to finally get a longbow.

Got elk and deer tags for my backyard but as they don't seem to want to come to me I am going to have to go find them.

Idaho for spring bear (got my butt kicked)
New Mexico for early archery bull elk
Wyoming rifle type 6 cow elk
Illinois whitetale
SoDak pheasant

I hope NM works out. It looks like it’s going to be a bad year fires there. That might help you or hurt you.

Its scary dry here in SW Colorado as well. If it does not start to rain then......... if you can find water you should find the animals as well.

Waiting on Idaho Elk/Deer/Antelope.
North Ga. Bear/Hogs/Whitetail.
South Bama Ducks/Whitetail/Hogs and maybe I'll draw a Gator tag.
But first of all later this summer, headed to Bozeman to see what kinda
fishing we can get into.

Debating whether to burn points(and start a nine year timeout)on a cow elk tag this December in the Black Hills. Feel like putting an elk on the ground would count for a lot in our continuing education. With the changes to our draw structure I wonder if even second choice tags will become a hot commodity in short order. 7900 people with less than ten points were awarded 23 tags this draw, and with points now being cubed I don't see it getting better. Such a hard decision.

Damn Tony. Start fletching up some extra arrows and getting all your spares together now!

For me - probably staying local this year unless my schedule changes. New whitetail spots, and am going to try for my first black bear doing some still / stand hunting in the mountains of NH if I can make the time. If I tag out early, I'll give it a go at some waterfowl in the salt marshes and try to catch the fall run for striper fishing.
