Actually it's a little over 7 months too early to say for me. Until I'm actually there and hunting, there's no guarantee that I'll even still be around, let alone hunting. But the plan is always an archery elk hunt somewhere.
this will be season #21 chasing roosies on the Oregon coast with my bow.... last year was my first year shooting a stick bow, and blew 4 slam dunk chances, and broke my 15yr streak, so 2020 will be "recurve redemption" and I fully expect to walk up to a black horned bull laying in the tall ferns (preferably after watching him tip over unsure of what happened)
with that said, I will be shooting my compound daily still, and will treat that setup like i'm hunting with it, but i'm doing good and making mental progress..... making the adjustments to not have the problems I did in 19'
can't wait! just need to make it to April, once spring bear season gets rolling, then work gets busy, then before I know it, September will be here.
