Have new prices been posted even? I'd be cautious that the new threaded versions are going to be more expensive than getting one on sale and having chopped/threaded to your desired spec.

You read my mind, as I typed my last post I had the same thought. I'm thinking once I see pricing and barrel lengths I'll know pretty quick what I want to do.

I'm waiting to see the new threaded versions as I'm needing a .223 for training/kids hunting... hoping for 18" or 20" but if they come out at 22+ I'll still need to cut/thread and could've just gotten a lite right now. Q3 feels like forever away.

I ordered a .223 compact (20") from Eurooptic on Jan. 16. I couldn't find a local gunsmith to thread it.

I ordered threading from Silencer Central on Jan. 22 for $170. Got my rifle back in hand and threaded on February 8. Just dropped the barreled action off at Walgreens and they FedEx it back to my door.

Pretty sure there are other options like TBAC for threading. You can just go get it done, and not wait. You're going to spend that much or more on ammo.

Yep they are pretty good about getting product out the door quick.

Overall, I was very impressed with EuroOptic. I had several back-and-forth emails with one of their sales reps prior to the purchase. He was very prompt about responding to the emails and answering my questions. Then spoke to him on the phone to provide payment info...very polite and professional. The cost of the rifle - even with added cost for shipping/FFL fee - was around $200+ less than my LGS. Just got confirmation that it has been delivered to the FFL. So, assuming I am pleased with the rifle itself, this has been one of the easiest/best customer service/sales experiences that I have had. I will be ordering my scope from them as well.

I got it for $50 cheaper and free shipping. It’s not stainless which I’m fine with me. It will be a range gun only. And I have a factory synthetic tikka stock if I don’t like the wood. I could probably sell the wood stock for few bucks and be a few bucks cheaper than buying a stainless rifle and sending it off to be chopped and threaded.

I just talked to a Beretta rep at the NWTF Convention about when we’ll see the threaded 7 PRC’s hit the shelves. He laughed and said hopefully before hunting season.

Once a year I start looking at stocks for my tikka 308. Then I look at the price tag and then I ask myself what am I gaining? I think for a second and realize that the factory stock doesn't suck and the gun as currently set up still shoots better than I can. Then I take that 500 to 800 bucks I just saved and buy powder, primers and bullets for my 308 so I can practice more

While I wouldn't be surprised with a price increase, there are current rifles to compare. They have the same blue/wood/16"/ 223 listed at Euro in both threaded and non-threaded. The threaded version is $150 more. I got one of the threaded ones a couple weeks ago.

Vertical grip accessory and a cheek riser is pretty much all it needs. I’ve done both the Matthews kydex cheek riser you drill through the stock and the Beartooth slip on with the foam inserts. I’m doing the Beartooth slip on cheek riser with the ammo loops so I can have a few extra rounds on hand in case I mag dump on a running yote.
