Once a year I start looking at stocks for my tikka 308. Then I look at the price tag and then I ask myself what am I gaining? I think for a second and realize that the factory stock doesn't suck and the gun as currently set up still shoots better than I can. Then I take that 500 to 800 bucks I just saved and buy powder, primers and bullets for my 308 so I can practice more![]()
The factory stock works for sure . But you definitely need to open the inlet, add a vertical grip and a cheek riser IMO. The KRG stocks (most recently the echo) are by far the most economical and give you a ton of options for $300 (less with mil/LE discount).
