What's your total weight upfront?

Last year, RIP TKO's, 75gr HIT, 25gr Collar and 100gr head, 200gr up front and 485gr TAW.

This year Axis MG, 50gr HIT, 10gr Collar and 100gr head, 160gr up front and 500gr TAW.

I think I will go back to the TKO with either 200gr or 175gr up front, my Axis arrows didn't spin as true as the TKO's after a summer of shooting. Actually, my two-year-old TKO's still spin better than the AXIS even though they have been shot more.

Both killed elk equally well.

I use the gold tip fact weight system and right now use 200 gr. Including insert. But I could change that at any time either lighter or heavier in only minutes.

200 grn broadhead, 50 grn IW HIT insert, IW, Ethics, or GT collar of differing weights to accommodate final tune.

200gr on my compound, 250-300gr on my recurves... not an FOC nut, that's just what things end up being shooting the arrow weight i like and the shafts i like.... don't even know my FOC

I'm working on new product development and I'm curious what you guys are using for total weight upfront on your arrows including the insert, broadhead, and collar if used. Let me know what you are using or want to use for total weight. Thanks!

50 grain brass insert
25 grain IW collar
100 grain head.

Shooting 340 axis at 27.5" c-to-c. AAE max vain. X-nock. Total weight is 486. Shooting 66 LBs at 27.5" draw.

Thanks for all the input guys. I put this in a histogram and attached it here for anyone interested. The x axis is total upfront weight and the y axis is the number of people at that weight. I was thinking that 150-175 would be most common and it is, but a lot of guys are shooting 200 grains also. Good to know, thanks!

125grain IW broadhead + 45-50 grain VAP Titus titanium insert = approx 175 combined

switching to IW inserts & collars next year

100gr broadhead, 75gr insert, 550gr total arrow weight with 300 Axis 5mm Realtree arrows

160 grains up front (Dp6-s125, c10 & 20 gr inserts) with a heavier fmj setup and 175 up front (Dp6-s125, c25, h25) with a lighter axis for more foc. Not looking to change much but I’m excited to see what’s in the works.
