Trad guy here, between 250-325 depending on which set-up

set up 1: 50 gain insert/outsert, 200 grain head
set up 2: 100 gain insert/outsert, 225 grain head

I use whatever weight I need to get my arrows to spine.

100 head, 50 insert 30 collar shooting axis 260 at 75 lbs

next year I think I'm going to shoot 70 lbs so I'll use axis 300's then I'm thinking of going

125 head 16 insert and maybe a 10 collar

IW solid- 125gr


Blew through a whitetail with that setup this year.

200 :: 125 IW wide + 50 IW insert +25 IW collar. Total arrow is around 485 - BE rampage 300s. Have been very happy with the performance this year.

I'm working on new product development and I'm curious what you guys are using for total weight upfront on your arrows including the insert, broadhead, and collar if used. Let me know what you are using or want to use for total weight. Thanks!
I have been shooting the s125s and 25-55 grain insert. So 150-175 usually

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the responses. My two setups currently are:
125 head + 25 HIT + 25 Collar for 175
125 head + 25 HIT + 10 Collar for 160

I'm at 100gr head with 45gr of goldtip halfout and collar.
My brother is at 100gr head and 50gr halfout with no collar.
