What’s your rifle weigh?

I have 2 main hunting rifles. One for up close where carrying in hand at the ready is an all-day/all-the-time thing. The other more for general use that I think is more typical for western hunting. Both rifles are pretty close to 8 1/4lb.

I wish the up close rifle was lighter, but I also wish it was a 308 rather than a 3006. It SUCKS to shoot (18” barrel, suppressor not legal). Other than that I love it.

I wish the other rifle was more like 8.5-8.75 at times. Unless Im actively still-hunting the weight is very reasonable, but the extra weight makes shooting easier.

Ive also gravitated to a few particular scopes that are a little heavier (19-20oz) because i had consistent problems with scopes losing zero.

Straight pull AR15. 16 inch 223wylde barrel. Nightforce NXS, Scythe-ti suppressor, 10 rd mag, arca mounted tripod, scope caps.

4lbs 12oz includes everything. And don't let anyone tell you that lightweight rifles don't shoot... 2nd pic is my 720 yard gong. The upper left impact is the first shot after the scope was dialed in. The second shot was adjusted down and left one click on the scope to verify. (Was already Dialed a couple clicks for a few mph wind)

I'm looking for any excuse to post my new Tikka so everybody knows I'm part of the cool club now and this thread is perfect lol. Ignore the scope, just loosely fitted it for initial weight. Scope is 18 oz and I'll most likely shave 5 oz by putting a 3-9x40 Accupoint on it so that would put it at 6 lbs 14 oz. It's the lightest rifle I have aside from 22lr's.
