MH Chicken A-La-King with noodles and I throw in crushed red pepper. I actually crave it in the off season.

Another +1 for MH Pasta Primivera. Another favorite is the MH Chicken and Rice and then add your own dried breaded jalapeno coins.

Spaghetti and lasagna MH are my fave.

For breakfast I've tried the MH eggs and backpackers pantry eggs. The BP eggs require you to add water then cook them in a pan, kind of defeats the purpose of freeze dried IMO. The MH granola and blueberries with a cup of Starbucks instant coffee hits the spot for me.

some granola, powdered milk, chopped almonds, and a few chocolate chips measured and vacuum sealed is what I have been doing for breakfasts, throw in some water and bam! Its easy and quick other times of the day also.

did the same with oatmeal, dried fruit, nuts, and a scoop of protein powder for a fly in sheep hunt. It's an easy 500-700 cal and it worked great.

I think I'm gonna try the granola, some dried goat's milk, protein powder for this year.

Anybody a fan of the MH Turkey Tetrazinni?

Yeah, the tetrazinni and stroganoff are my two favorites. I usually alternate nights with them. Last year I ordered some big cans of freeze dried vegetables and started adding them to my dinners. I repack all my MH into freezer ziplock bags and add the vegetables to the bag.

Becca started doign that for us in 2012. Best backcountry breakfast!! Way better than oatmeal! I call it "glorious cereal"! Had a bunch last week on our 5 day winter camping trip. Oh so nice!

yes me & my buddy have been doing the same for a bunch of years now, after trying a bunch of diff thing we came up with granola ,almonds. powder milk & dried fruit, just add hot water, taste great & fills you up.the other thing we pack is mini bagles & peanut butter for breakfast.
