9/6-9/15 archery in Montana. I usually hunt later than that but wanted to try a little earlier for a few reasons.

If not successful, I have 2 weeks of vacay to split between Kansas deer and bringing rifle back to Montana for elk in November.

I will hunt most weekends until Dec 1, either trying to get one or helping someone else. I have taken Sept 13-22 off to hunt with my brother. Hopefully he can get his first elk.

Up in ID right now, working remotely this week and scouting in the evenings. Figured out my plan A last night and staked out a camping spot on the mtn. Friday 8/30 after work I will head to the hills and hunt opening week the and then start heading home in the afternoon of Saturday 9/7. Back to work/home/sons birthday on 9/15 for three weeks and then on 9/27, a buddy and I head to WY for a 10-day rifle hunt.

same issues for me, i'm gonna be focused on last couple weeks of the season, work crept into the first week and then a wedding suffocated the second week.

I'll still nab a day or two here and there at the start... im willing to make a long long drive even for a single day of hunting.

My dad, brother and I are planning on hunting from Oct 26th through Nov 7th. We have cow tags. Then we're heading up to visit some outfitter friends that I'll hopefully work for next season!

I'll be hunting Colorado during muzzleloader season with a mixed group of archery and ML tag holders. I drew ML cow tag 2nd choice to preserve points for next year and will be hunting alongside my dad who has an archery tag. Main focus will be getting a bull into bow range for him.

I'll be helping a buddy with his first archery elk tag, and then hopefully we'll be done soon enough that my daughter can hunt on her ML cow tag, and then maybe OTC for me the last week. If we don't get time for my daughter's ML tag, then we'll hunt 2nd and/or 3rd rifle on it. Just hoping my body can hold on for an entire season. Had MRI's last week and I have a torn labrum in my hip, and my lumbar spine has degraded further. Keep pressing on.

Taking opening week for CO archery off of work. A project might start Oct 1... I doubt it, but I have to be around to review agreements mid/end of Sep :/. Sucks to suck. Stoked to get at least all of week 1 out there.

Edit: Will still get weekends, and if project gets pushed to spring, will see if I can take a long weekend or two. The after work hunts I doubt would produce much, but I will try.

Plan was to go out opening weekend this weekend, and If I don't get something I've got the week of the 16th off, so about 10 days. But now I'm sitting in urgent care to see if I am on light duty due to a back injury, so now questioning on going this weekend.

Last week of Sept.

Second kiddo arrived late June.
Wife just asked to push depqrture back as far as I could. Usually try to get out a bit earlier in the month. So it will be a interesting change up.

My first priority in Sept in killing a bear. If I can get one down before the 20th (I have 8 days set aside), i'm going to help a friend on the 20th-24th and then again on the 27-28th.

My tag is 1st rifle which is Oct 12-16th. I'll be out there from the 9th-18th to make that happen.

Leave for Wyoming 9/8 and hunt through 9/15. Back again for rifle if not successful. Leave for MT 11/20 and hunt through 11/24. Summer flew by which is great!

We'll be in WY from the start of rifle season until we tag out, so probably the full 2 weeks at the end of Oct.
