Amazed at the price of cat taxidermy. A full body would be cool but would drive the drahts wild.
You ain't lyin' man. Mine was like $1350! I had no idea they were that much!

But since I managed to take one last day of deer season 2019, and since d!ckhead Gavin Newsom put a Bobcat Ban on the ballot to be voted upon by CA's Enviro-nazis that would go into effect 2020, I knew I had to just grin and bare it be thankful I was at least able to take one before then. 62gr TSX roughed her up kinda bad because the shot literally removed a section of her spine.

Not winning any awards for big though. But I have seen some VERY buffed looking males in that same area though.

Thank you! When I originally started using wood I bought a few stretchers from a guy in Colorado. I believe his name is Otis Latham, and they are excellent! I still use them but I now make my own with a similar design. I made a few modifications that seem to fit the cats from my areas necks a little better.
Any idea if he still sells stretchers in CO?

He's on Facebook if you want to find him there. OD Lathim. I have a couple stretchers from him. I've built a bunch of my own based on his stretcher measurements as well.

That is a nice cat! Looks like he was well fed indeed. Also, the taxidermy is very lifelike and natural.

A variant of Bergmann's Rule is a biological maxim that states that animals of the same species will be larger in colder climates (or more northern climates), than those of a warmer climate. That seems to be the case with your Minnesota cat.

Here is an example of Red Foxes from colder vs warmer climate:

I got a good size cat that had been putting a hurting on our chickens. I’m guessing here but I’d say mid to upper 20s. He was almost as tall as our female pit bull and she is 50lbs. Biggest one I’ve ever seen.

Shot one calling coyotes years ago that was bigger than any of the coyotes we were killing.....weight isn't always the best indication of true size....but we figured around 36-40#
