Making goals are great, and there is not much you cant achieve if you really want it. The draws/tag systems really hold up a few options for some species.

For me, my goals are hunts, not necessary to kill an animal, if I have hunted it/guided it/been with a friend who's killed one I am happy.
I have been a bit behind the game now that we have a couple of little kids but so far I got a few I wanted:

what I have ticked off so far:

Mature Bull Tahr with the Bow

Mature Chamois with the bow

NZ wapiti(Elk) with open sight .303

Mature Bull Tahr and Stag with an Open Sight .303

Hunted Mt Goats,Moose, and Stones in BC Canada

Hunted Elk in CO

My big goal this year is Mid Asian in October in Kazak. Ibex has been a long term one and finally making it happen.

Long term goal is the South Pacific 15(Aussie and NZ game animals) with either the bow or an open sight .303, Ive done a few of the harder ones, just need time for the rest!

My bucket list was, bear, pronghorn, mule deer, Mountain lion, bobcat, turkeys and of course whitetail. I always wanted to hunt coyotes but we did not have any in the East but as soon as they showed up I killed a beautiful red one and dozens since. The above list is complete.

Still chasing Elk, just have not caught up to one I wanted to shoot.

Current list is wolf, lynx and moose. I'm slowing down these days but the spirit is still there. It's great to dream!
