I've found the remnants of a couple meth "labs". Maybe not cool but, probably one of the more interesting finds.
Now that is an amazing find! I wonder if you're the only one that knows about it?I’ve found some neat things over the years, but the coolest find was a cliff dwelling in Arizona. Picture is through my spotting scope, unfortunately I didn’t go check it out. I watched too many Indian Jones movies.

Unfortunately not an elk so farI was a big fan of the creepy thread that’s been going around on here, but wanted to expand this discussion beyond weird/creepy/paranormal. So what’s the coolest thing you’ve found?
What elevation was this at?

Way way back in the day, in the mid sixties, there actually was sort of a "back country" in the hills of Castro Valley, California. While exploring as a ten-year old, I found a femur that was later identified as belonging to a camel. Turns out that there was a short-lived population of them stemming from a brief experiment by the US Cavalry; didn't work out and many were turned loose.
Wyoming is Fossil Central. Especially the Green River area in the western part of the state.Found. a plains bison horn west of Casper in s school section.
Found fossils galore.
Dave, it was getting dark so I left your chainsaw about a mile from camp. You can't miss it - I stuck it in a forked tree.
