Basically, pre-workouts are just supplements that are supposed to help you have a better workout. A lot of them have caffeine or some other kinds of stimulants to give you a pick-me-up and get you going. Some of the better pre-workouts have supplements that have some research behind them for performance (i.e. creatine, beta-alanine, citrulline). This can all get kind of controversial though and it's hard to really say if they do much for you other than the stimulants. Worth reading more into if interested though.I’ve noticed a lot of people using a “pre-workout supplement”. What is it and what does it do?
