Mine has had her eye on a grain mill for a couple years.
Thanks for the suggestion! She had borrowed a Komo Classic from a friend (and liked it) so that’s our only reference but it looks like the Mockmill is pretty similar, maybe a little better?Mockmill is the way to go. Don’t bother with the kitchenaid attachment or most of the others
Good one. I have a couple air powered nailers that are community property- so I guess you could say she already has a few options. I've used a few, and even the gas cartridge nailers which are noticeably lighter...but you go through a lot of cartridges. You can get an extended magazine that holds 2 strips.
The DeWalt nailer is 2 pounds lighter and it really shows in use compared to the Milwaukee, but the fly wheel on the Dewalt is louder (still much better than a pneumatic) and has to spin up. Having used both, you should get your wife a DeWalt framing nailer for Christmas.

The one time I bought my wife a purse and they give you a Louis shopping bag and I walked out of there feeling like the biggest sucker on the planet....Don't worry, she is getting you a Louis Vuitton "satchel".
My wife got one and has been fighting it for months (her birthday present) and sense she will never see this lol, the flour doesn’t taste as good as the chemical enhance stuff she tells me is so bad!Mine has had her eye on a grain mill for a couple years.
One of the things I just ordered my wife is some big oversized comfy hoodie/blankie thing from big blanket co…
I also bought her a massive bath pillow and a chipper (golf club) since golf is our new empty nester phase hobby.
Do you have a link to that massager? Back surgery helped back and upper leg pain, but not her calf and feet.Getting the Mrs. a heated, variable speed foot and calf massage unit that matches the Perfect Chair zero gravity in the game room I can’t keep her out of. Have no issues providing the actual foot rubs myself, but I hunt a lot! She’ll love it.
I often buy mine some relatively expensive purses or other leather accoutrements we can well afford but she would never buy herself. See Coach hobo-style or slouch bag; yet to meet a woman that doesn’t melt over purses. I’m more of a brand snob than my wife; it’s pathetic, but she always marvels how I know what’s in style at the moment…
She loves to travel all over the world, and even if I’m not going on a particular trip, I either sponsor a major part of it or make arrangements for her and friends/family to attend a world class restaurant/sporting event/tour/yachting experience - something unique. And/or, if the exchange rates are favorable(ish), I get her some phat stacks of the local currency to spend wildly.
I do everything I can to spoil her rotten; she’s one of the best wives a man could ask for. Gorgeous, killer career, humble, smart, thoughtful - and has realistic expectations. I wish the same for all of you this holiday season! I say spoil ‘em fellas, they put up w/a lot of shenanigans…….
