What's everyone buying their wives for Christmas?

Standbys for me when i'm lacking ideas:
- 3 months subscription to a good wine club
- Booking something for us - A weekend ski trip, concert, etc including arrangement of child care
- gift certs for a spa/massage

She asked for a necklace this year which is kind of out of character. haven't bought anything besides a little cheap etsy necklaces with our daughters initials and an engagement ring previously.

I would buy her either a trip to the spa, hair, massage, or maybe a nice long weekend trip somewhere. Purse could’ve an option. But I’m not talking your run of the mill leather goods. I’m talking like the ones that cost as much as your nightforce and swaro’s LOL!

Yea, I am struggling this year. I have a few items like heated socks and a heating pad, she is always freezing and we have lots of cold sporting events. Trying to book a weekend get away in the Santa Fe or Taos area.

If your wife says things she doesn’t mean which may lead to a trap, you’re in for a long road bro.
We don’t do gifts. We live in such a way we just buy what we want when we want it.
She did just get a new Iphone but that would happen whether Christmas or not.

Massage
Spa Day
Vinyl Records
Painting of romantic places we've visited together.
Elk ivory earrings
Elk ivory necklace
Plants
Patio Furniture
Red wine
Something she actually needs if she does have a hobby.

Jewelry, use sparingly but typically works when in doubt and last minute!
Another trick about jewelry, buy Swarovski. If she's not a yuppie brand snob, she won't know it's not that expensive. And you can tell her it's from your favorite premium European brand.

I'll edit as I think of more. I've been buying birthday and Christmas gifts for the same woman for 24 years now. It can be challenging, but definitely gets easier if she gets hobbies. Mine is fairly easy to please, hence the 24 years.

I booked us a family trip for the spring and pair of AirPods Pro.
I always thought they were ridiculous but I got a pair and they are super handy. Small, throw in your pocket, really good noise canceling, and a few other features.

We usually do some little stocking stuffer things that are thoughtful then take a trip somewhere. She's been talking about Italy. She's probably getting a new roof and a deck instead.

Imagine if sombody asked for tire reccomendations and you come here to say I dont use tires. Just drive on the rim.

Thats what I see when you guys comment to let us all know you dont "do gifts ".

Thanks

We decided a few years ago to get each other experiences rather than things. This year it’s a week long cruise for both of us. In years past it has been an out of state tag for me and some sort of trip for her.

This year I did a couple side jobs to afford my out of state hunts so we’re both happy.

I'm flying my wife, 2 daughters and 3 grandsons to Florida for 5 days. All the men are staying home and will have the best time EVER!

A couple of decades ago my wife mentioned several times that it would be nice to have a pair of warm boots that she could easily slip on/slip off when she had to work the playground in the winter (school teacher).

I listened and a couple of weeks prior to Christmas I bought her a pair (of rather spendy) slip on pacs. I was kind of excited Christmas morning because I figured I had nailed it. She opened the big box looked in and said "you got winter boots for Christmas?"–there could have been an expletive in there as well :ROFLMAO:

Now I just wait for her to tell me what she wants :D

No wife:
But I have so far bought my GF:

Plans for her new home $1500
Mulched a few acres of new property $3500
Down payment for a drive way $20,000

We are partnering on the house/land

What do I want?
******* piece and quiet- leave me alone and let me drink a beer and read a book.
