I was fortunate enough to draw a pretty good tag this year. It’s a good sized unit and only 10 tags were handed out. It’s archery and bull only. Not open for cows. My question is. How would your tactics change when you have very little hunting pressure? Maybe less of a need to go in deep to get away from hunters. Thanks for any advice.

I think your over thinking it. No, you probably dont need to plan on going deep to find them. Just hunt man. Find a glass point, feeding area and some water.s less pressure should give you a better chance of finding the elk quickly. I wouldnt change my hunting style at all and only expect better odds of not having another hunter interfering with your plan. Good luck.
