What waders are you guys running?

I get the Cabela's Breathable Combo, Waders + felt Boots was like $ 179.

Exactly. I’m ten times slower then all my buddies and it’s miserable

I may spring for the Sitka next season and keep these as my backup pair, they have taken a beating with no leaks so although they are awkward I can’t complain too much for 100 bucks

I have used Sitka waders the past 2 seasons. Had a small leak and they fixed it, no charge. I know it's a hard sell at a grand, but I'm happy with them. High n Dry or Dive Bomb would be my next choice.

I have had unlined gore waders for years for fishing. Had a buddy at patagonia that sent me a couple pairs so I used those for years. Current ones are orvis I think. They are good, Ive had them for 3 or 4 years and they are good. BUT now that the fashionable color for fishing waders is off-white/light grey, and I decided to try duck hunting, I bought a pair of hunting waders. Reading the horror stories of leaky $1000 waders I decided the best value to get started would be a $129 pair of neoprene rogers waders. Just finished my second season in them with no leaks. They do get stiff if its chilly out, though. I will probably buy another pair of these before I spend the price of a new shotgun on a pair.

I’ve always used Cabelas neoprene waders. They leak after 3-5 seasons but work fine for me. I may try breathable next but don’t really need to as I hunt over flooded rice so the walk out the check and back is about all the walking I do.

I've used Cabela's waders for a couple of decades and they've been fine, but not great. Now that the warranty doesn't work anymore, I plan to move on anyway to something nicer and better. Mostly fishing now versus waterfowl.
Looking at Skwala, curious if anyone has tried them?

I’m curious about this as well.

Or the original Kuiu waders for that matter?

Simms makes the Kuiu Waders, it's basically the freestone bootfoot with the Kuiu camo and a couple of extra features like knee pads for an additional $400. You do get the Simms warranty / their repairs with the Kuiu which is a plus. $1000 for non-Gortex Toray material waders seems steep though.

Yeah that doesn’t really seem worth it. I appreciate your input on that.
