Seekoutside 6 or 8 man tipi with liners, wood stove and winter gear take some place. You can also use a 6 man and put some gear outside under a tarp but 8 man sounds more realistic,I strongly suggesting the liners.

I use a luxe octopeak. It is perfect for three men with gear guns and stove. Leaving nothing outside

Seekoutside Cimmaron for 2 guys and a stove and redcliff for 3 guys and a stove. I would recommend the large stove as well. I have the medium and wish I bought the large.

This is the info I've been looking for! Had any issues with Luxe? Been really eyeing their gear up, but am hesitant to dump money into something that won't work for me.

I was actually really impressed. The first night we stayed in it the weather was horrible. 20 mph winds, 20 degrees at 5800’ elevation. No wind came through nor water. We cooked and had the Stove going. I slept outside of my sleeping bag most of the night.

I have a Hexpeak XL and I like it but their CS is not good. The fabric on my stove jack ripped and reached out for help on how to repair it and got no where. Also bought up some of their tent stakes since they are so cheap and I now know why they are so cheap. Most are bent, some are broken but my MSR stakes put into the same ground are just fine.

Could you fit four guys with a stove if you had a 2nd tent for gear? My brother and I plan on sleeping in my SO Eolus and I was thinking of buying an Octopeak for my other brother and dad. If it got too cold, could we all pile in the Octopeak and put the gear in my Eolus?

Do you have the Luxe stove too?

Edit: I should note that this won't be life or death. We would be within a reasonable hiking distance of our vehicle.

I think as long as you had all the gear out and didn’t mind being close you would be fine
