What SXS if you were buying one tomorrow?

I researched and researched, compared and built spreadsheets on everything I needed to know about SXS's for 4 months or so. Came down to a CanAm HD9XT and the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT 1000 as the best fit for me.

After sitting in a lot of machines and trying them out, the two above had the best options for my needs. Storage, dependability, options, engine size, comfort, local dealers, which was very important for me, customer service and finally price.

Settled on the HD9 because the Kawai dealer went up for sale as I was shopping and there was no guarantee they would be around after the sale. Next town with dealers was either 3 hours east or 5 hours west.

Honda dealer didn't have any machines around when I was shopping, the Polaris dealer didn't want to sell me a Polaris, he wanted me to buy a CFMoto 600 or 1000 as he sells 10 of those to 1 Polaris, so he says. Sat in the CF machine and it was uncomfortable for me and the fit a finish was not great....but it was $5000 less the HD9.....

In the end, bought the HD9 for a great price and have been very happy so far with it. Got the dealer to discount the glass windshield w/wiper and install it (which is a must), throw in some free extras and 10% off parts and labour for life. If there is one complaint, it in black. I wanted camo as it doesn't scratch or show scuffs, but beggars can't be choosey.....

Cheers

Awesome unit.
Would you say availability of dealers and service was paramount over motor and fit and finish.
