There is little chance factories will offer heavy bullets for the 243 Win. Most all the rifles chambered in it are made for 100 gr. and under.
6 Creed has all kinds of factory ammo in the 105-109 grain range. I will always have a 243/243AI, but the 6 Creed is WAY better for factory ammo shooters and reloaders.
So for the niche of long range target shooting and hunting the Creed is better? Sure it is. Does the 243 have an edge using the lighter bullets on coyotes? In a way as cheaper bullets seem to shoot better in the slower twists. Todays standard deer hunting ammo for the 243 pretty much does a fine job out past ranges most people shoot at deer.

But it’s way cooler to shoot an ultra high BC, sleek bullet from a custom rifle with a 3500 dollar scope capable of dialing effectively at 2 miles after checking the weather with an handheld weather station and finding the perfect firing solution via ballistic calculator. All this technology culminates in the perfect shot on a deer eating corn 75 yards away (unless of course it got its fill and wandered off while you were building a position).

I acquired a .308 and have been toying with the .257 Bob idea for a switcheroo. Pretty cool cartridge.
